Who we are
Seely ("we", "us") is operated by Seely Social Ltd. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and the Seely app, and how we use it. For any privacy question, contact us at legal@seelysocial.com.
What we collect
If you register interest on this page, we store the email address you submit, along with your country and browser user agent (detected automatically). If you use the Seely app, we also collect: the Google account information used to sign in, the content of your waves, messages, and preferences, and basic device and usage information needed to operate the service.
How we use it
To let you know when early access opens, to operate matching and translation between users, and to screen waves and messages against EU law before they reach anyone (see our Safety section for what that covers). We do not sell your data.
Legal basis and your rights
For users in the EU/EEA, we process personal data under the GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@seelysocial.com.
Third parties
We use third-party processors to run the service, including Google (sign-in), Vercel (hosting and infrastructure), and a managed Postgres database provider. These processors only handle data as needed to provide their service to us.
Data retention
We keep interest-registration emails until early access launches or you ask us to delete them. Account data is kept for as long as your account is active, and deleted on request.
